Three Days by Thee Moths

Written, recorded, mastered, artwork completed, and uploaded between midday and three in the afternoon of the 1st of March, 2016

I came home from work early, feeling low on spoons, so decided to start my JoCoAlbMo record, I didn’t intend to finish it on the same afternoon.

But I did.

Anyway, the whole thing was improvised in one take (melodies, lyrics, and all) on a 60 year old nylon strung guitar. I made some noises with my mouth, added some delay, and popped some samples on top…..

Then I made the artwork (which had popped, fully formed, into my head), and that was that.

The album runs for just over 40 minutes, including the lengthy fade out of the coda (representing the final end of all things)
