about

Written and recorded by Thee Moths during a time of great change, Nature reflects on life in Dundee, Scotland, the breakup of relationships, the new dawn, long journeys, new love, and uncertain times. The music is, in turn, bleak and celebratory, throwaway and soft with gently strummed acoustic songs rubbing up against frantic digital beats all stitched together with ambient soundscapes.

This release gives insight into the thoughts and feelings of its main protagonist in the early part of 2005 and comes to you like light from a distant star--you cannot be sure that Thee Moths you are hearing on Nature is Thee Moths that exists in the real world. Where Thee Moths will go next is anyone's guess, but Nature at least gives the listener a glimpse of where they they have been.
